The #1 thing that stops more women entrepreneurs from getting started in their business or kills their business is fear of rejection. No one likes to hear no.
This can be a paralyzing fear for many but there is hope.
Educate yourself on what to say, what to do, and what to expect right from the start.
I can’t tell you how many women I speak to who are deflated in their efforts because “nobody is buying” and when I dig deeper they have only spoken to a handful of people and only once. No ma’am.
Only 2% of sales are made on the first contact while 80% of them are made between the fifth and twelfth.
So this means you need a SYSTEM.
The key is to keep it very simple. Have a system in place and use it on a consistent basis.
A good system consists of…
-Knowing how to contact and invite people to learn more about your offer.
-Knowing how to present your offer effectively.
-Knowing where to insert credibility without looking like an arrogant bih.
-Knowing how to effectively follow up.
I consider myself a beast at selling and I still get “No”. It is a part of the process. I’m happy to get them because it means I’m that much closer to my yes.
No is okay! No is normal! Everybody goes through this…
If Oprah could get fired from a TV anchor job for not being “enough” surely you can keep going right? #justsaying
Resistance is sometimes the clue that you’re on the right track. So the truth is no is just as much a part of building your empire as anything else. Don’t take it personal and don’t be afraid of it. (insert genuine hug)
You got this sis!
Until next time…
