No Longer Lost In The Crowd

Hey beautiful!

So the month of September is behind me. It’s official. I’m a mini rockstar lol! Because I sure feel like I just came off a whirlwind tour…

I traveled to Miami, New Orleans, Los Angeles and Atlanta all in one month.. mercy!

With the exception of the Miami trip, all my other trips were for business so get ready to see some exciting & new things happening in my brand as a result of taking action on what I learned from these events…

Nobody starts a business with the intention of being broke so money is a factor. But what does that money allow you to do?

Most of us would say it allows for freedom from having to do things we don’t want to do..

But as I look around at the events going on in the world, I have to say it allows for much more than that.

It allows for a ” seat at the table”.

The “table” is where important decisions are made that affect the lives of others.

It also gives you a “microphone” to speak and share.

As a Christian, I am appalled and sometimes embarrassed at the level of judgement and self righteous behavior under the guise of “holiness” that we are out here demonstrating..

Christians only doing business with other Christians and then blasting others for not doing the same..

Really? (insert heavy sigh & eye roll)

Last I checked, when Jesus walked the earth He was spending more time with those outside the church than in it. #justsaying

So as a woman, as a black person, and as a Christian, I’m part of many crowds and quite honestly was starting to feel lost,,,

At the end of the day though, I KNOW, I’m called to help and love on women entrepreneurs..

Straight ones

Gay ones

Black ones

White ones

Hispanic ones

Asian ones

New agers

Jews

Muslims

Buddhists

Atheists

Hindu

Many of them are lost in the crowd too. That’s who I’m here for..

Maybe you’re at the point where you’re wondering if success in your business is even possible.

Maybe you’ve been trained to think that luxury or independence is wrong.

From one former lost girl to another, let me tell you that nothing is further from the truth and we are DESPERATELY needed to step up and show up in the marketplace as examples of what true and unconditional love is.

I’m clear on that.

So consider this your virtual pep talk. It’s time to get out there and get to work!

Until next time..
